Hey all,
This is for the people living in Bangalore,Tumkur or surrounding area and looking for a short trip to an instagrammable place ;)
Just in case you're not from one of these places, read further and check if the location qualifies for a short trip from your place. ;)
This is a place not known to many people.
Mandaragiri it is!!
Mandaragiri hosts a beautiful Jain temple and a hill.
It is less than 70Kms from Bangalore. Head on the Bangalore-Tumkur road to get there.
The place is just a 3minute drive away from the main road.
The Jain temple was built in the year of 2011. So, it is not known to many.
I have added the exact coordinates later in the post..
If you are looking for some time in a calm and peaceful place then you can just head to the temple. :)
If you are looking for a short trek, climb the 400 odd steps to get to the hill top. :D
There's also a nearest railway station for those of you wanting to opt for a train ride.
We got to the place only after 10am. However, if you can get to the place early for a sunrise or late during sunset. It will be definitely worth it.
There's a Mantapa, lake and a small temple at the top. See pics below..
The place is kept very clean. Let's not litter around and join our hands in saving the beautiful nature.
