Day 1
About 2 weeks before the nationwide lockdown, work-from-home was announced at my workplace and my friend(she had been coughing and was requested to work from home) and I discovered an adorable book cafe - Champaca, on Queen's road in Bengaluru. Thankfully, it was just a 10 min ride from my then home in the city. We started meeting at the cafe quite often and would spend our entire day surrounded by the lush green trees and a few book lovers. The cafe keeps a select collection of books of different genres along with a separate kids section for reading. The menu is limited to some healthy snacks and a few delicious vegan options. The beetroot kebabs and chocolate cake is the highlight.
