From a Distance to Within: Illuminating Diwali's Radiance

The air has become thin and the cold inside it has surfaced. The sky and I are in a conversation. The distant sound of prayer bells is echoing across town. And I say to it, “Diwali, the Festival of Lights, has always been a distant dream for me.
