Tegenungan Waterfall Reviews

WE STARTED OUR JOURNEY IN THE EARLY MORNING WITH RENTAL CAR. 1ST WE HAD BEEN VISITED TEGENUNGAN WATERFALL IN UBUD IN RAINY ATMOSPHERE SO PLACE WERE LITTLE MUDDY. SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VIEW & PEACEFUL PLACE WITH VOICE OF WATER & BIRDS. WE HAD BEEN DONE TRACKING THE HILL AND REACHED TO TOP OF THE FALL. THERE WERE MANY WATER ACTIVITIES & LOTS OF SHOPS ON A WAY OF WATERFALL WITH CLOTHES, FOOD, COCONUT WATER...AFTER VISITING FALL WE HAD IN TAMAN AYUN TEMPLE IN MENGVI. PURA TAMAN AYUN IS A COMPOUND OF BALINESE TEMPLE AND GARDEN WITH WATER FEATURES. BRONG IS A LION LIKE CREATURE AND CHARACTER IN THE MYTHOLOGY IN BALI. HE IS THE KING OF THE SPIRITS. WE CLICKED PICTURES AND COLLECTED INFORMATION OF TEMPLE & FALL.
Next we headed to Singaraja Waterfall (which is apparently same as Tegenungan waterfall). Unfortunately it started raining heavily and it went on for about an hour. We had to wait at a bamboo structure (which was also fun to be honest) and then slowly started heading down. We had lunch at a cafe overlooking a side of the waterfall. Then as we started moving further down we noticed the water of the falls was all muddy and dirty maybe due to the rains. We thought it would be unwise to go all the way down to only discover dirty water which we won't swim in, so we decided not to go and rather move back to Komune and make the most of our stay!
After having a full fledged yummy meal we set out on our trip. We went to one of the most amazing quiet beaches that we had heard of : Keramas Beach which has absolutely black sand. We spent some time there and headed to our next stop: Tegenungan waterfall which was beautiful to watch from the top. We climbed down clicked some pictures on the way and had some cold Bintang Radler and headed towards our second waterfall Blangsinga which was just an extension of Tegenungan which we realised after paying the entry ticket. It was pretty hot so we started back and crashed after entering our hotel, giving monkey forest and ubud palace a miss.
Tegenungan Waterfall It was late in the evening that we reach this tourist attraction. It was already falling dark after the sun set when we reach here and say a spectacular view of the waterfall from a distance. We were sad that we could not go and enjoy the waterfall, but then we were also tired because of the day filled with activities. We had to settle for a couple of picture of the waterfall. So one advice would be to reach this place a bit early, around 4pm would be perfect. The place is filled with cafes, so you would not be left hungry while enjoying the waterfall.
1) Tegenungan Waterfall : This is the most Instagram popular waterfall of Bali. If you really want to be alone here , make it your first stop and that too early in the morning , preferably before 7. There are tons of souvinier shops and restaurants around this waterfall. It is not difficult to reach but like any other waterfall in Bali , there are stairs about 80 - 100 stairs that you will need to climb down. If you do not want to get all the way down to the base of waterfall , there is a viewing area jsut after the entrance which requires not more than 10 mins walk.
