Bakkhali is a small island in southern bengal. This island is part of sundarban. It is a south facing crescent shape beach, this is the rare one in the world , from where you can see both the sunrise and sunset.
Bakkhali is 125 k.m from kolkata, you can go by car , by bike or you can avail local transport also.

I stayed at wbtdc hotel balutot tourism property, location is excellent, rooms are nice, big in size neat and clean with ac and geyser and also with big sea facing balcony. This property has a big lawn with 2 3 waterbody . Foods are simply delicious. This place is best for weekend trip.

Near sightseeing points are Kiran see beach, sagar dwip, sunset and sunrise point, kankraburi mandir, durga mandir etc.
