It was my 1st solo trip , I was little nervous .
But I must say it was a fabulous trip.
Sillery gaon is a beautiful and peaceful place.
It is in kalimpong district in westbengal.
Sillary gaon is situated at an altitude of 6000ft.
Sillery gaon has always soothing Weather, the village is surrounded by tall pine trees ,only interruption is the chirping sound of birds .
There is no traditional hotels in sillery gaon home stays are there to welcome you. Nice people delicious food fantastic view of Mount. Kanchenjunga, allover birds chirping and playing clouds are enough for fasineting you.
You can go for sight seeing remotey view point,
tinchule, silk route and many more.
From NJP stn. and Bagdogra Airport sillery gaon is about 90 k.m by car it will take 4 to 4.5 hr.
