Sikkim Darjeeling tour

Arrival at New jalpaiguri railway station:

NJP station connects all the hill station in that area.
you can go to Gangtok, darjeeling, pelling. Local cab are available from NJP to prime locations on sharing basis. it will cost you following:
NJP to Darjeeling : 250 rs
NJP to gangtok. : 350 rs
also i would suggest you to travel via toy train if you are traveling to Darjeeling.( but travel time is around 8 hr keep this in mind)
check in to hotel get rest and also you can roam in local market but remember local market closes around 8 pm , so plan accordingly.
tips:
1. if you are going to gangtok first book hotel near to mg road market. this market is well structured and you can have pleasant evening hear
2. and if you are travelling to Darjeeling first i would suggest you to book hotel little bit far from the mall road ( not more than 1 km) as the market is crowded.
also choose hotel on the valley side, mount kanchanjangha is that side so you can have the view.

local visit
In gangtok you can visit following
1. mg road market
2. nathula pass (must visit)
3. baba harbhajan singh mandir
4. tsmango lake
these visits will took 1 full day.
tips:
1. for nathula pass private vehicle is not allowed. they always club you to other peoples and pass is also necessary, so it is better if you go through a local tour and travels.

check out from hotel leave for pelling. on the way to peeling you can visit following:
1. Temi tea garden. (this garden is much beautiful then gardens in darjiling so i would suggest to go here.)
2. Budha temple (a must visit place)
after visiting these places leave for hotel.

check out from hotel and leave for Darjeeling:
(as per current situation i would suggest you to do rt pcr at gangtok if you not fully vaccinated this is very important you will need this to enter in west Bengal.)
on the way to Darjeeling you can visit following:
1. Sky walk
2. oldest monestry
3. other monestries
then head towards the hotel in Darjeeling. rest at hotel get some sleep next day is very important.
tips:
prebook a cab in advance for tomorrow if want to see the sun rise at tiger hill.

wake up at earliest, you should leave hotel at sharp 4 AM if want to see the sun rise and the amazing view of mount kanchanjangha from tiger hill.
after that come to hotel get some rest do breakfast, its time for local site seeing.
you can visit in Darjeeling:
1. Mountain institute and zoo
2. rock garden
tips:
if the weather is clear you can go to rope way. last ride will be at 2 pm. you can go there just after tiger hill.

this is the last day of you trip you will leave for the NJP or Bagdogra. on the way you can visit
lamahatta eco park

note:
i will suggest you not to go to kalimpong as nothing is there to visit.
