We a group of friends decided to finally see the history times through our eyes! Yes, the social studies book was opened! The trip was planned back in the year 2018, July.
We had a tempo traveler booked from Bangalore to Hampi and we were 8 people in total, finished our work on Friday night and started our journey to Hampi. We reached Hampi early in the morning the next day. The day with foggy morning started and we got into our rooms to freshen up and start our day of exploring places around.
We hired 2 autos to take us to all the possible places. With selfies and groupies on the way we finally got to see the beauty. Let us see a bit of our explored experiences!
Hampi - A Majestic landscape of rocks and temples where every stone tells us a story in silence
We actually saw all the pages in social studies book in real. The Stone Chariot which we can see in our 50 rupees.
Vijaya vittla temple
The Ugra Narasimha, which is made from a single stone.
Kadalekalu Ganesha
Om Namah Shivaya!
And the Musical Pillars!
After all these beauty, we headed towards a trek to Matanga hill, with breezy and fun club.
From the top we could spot The Virupaksha Temple, is one of the few temples in Hampi that is still worshipped today.
We also got to see the sunset from Matanga Hill which is a mesmerizing site.
Hampi has a soul! Waiting to visit again...Heavenly Hampi.
With few Sunset stories and stone stories we returned back to our rooms. We had a light dinner and went to sleep.
Day 2 started with our journey towards Badami! On the way we met so many sunflowers with welcoming us to hug them. We did some photoshoots and few talks with Sunflowers.
Badami is again a group of temples with heavenly view. While many people visit the famous caves and temples of Badami, we also see the Guardians. Yes, i am talking about Monkeys!
The carvings gives a feeling of Art and Poetry.
With an amazing view we had a full day spent, we did visit the nearby places.
With lots of fun and memories together, we returned back hoping to travel again.
