Austria N Germany 2014 - Good Times

I have one word "Fantastic" to describe my trip.  I still remember the day I got my visa thats when the party began.... Countries covered were Austria and Germany. The route I followed was Vienna - Munich - Nuremberg - Salzburg - Vienna. In Austria I visited and resided in the city Vienna with a very close friend who stayed in Thailastrasse (last stop on the metro)

We took the euro rail to Munich, I spent a day in Munich with a long lost friend whose now settled in Munich, from Munich went to Nuremberg and then to beautiful Salzburg.

Apart from Vienna every other place I stayed in a hostel ( I have a bit of an OCD) so thought it would be crazy but I made it woohoo, 4 of us in one room with one toilet. We did the Sound Of Music Tour in Salzburg, thankfully my friend gave me a quick recap ....

Our tour guide was a chubby British chap named Ian who had now settled in Austria, lovely guy.

Tip: If you do book yourself a room into a hostel go through the penalty charges etc carefully.  We paid for 2 nights but wanted to cancel the second night which they said wasn't possible.
