This is a continuation from my trip to mahabalipuram , from here i took a bus to to pondi for a fare of rupees 91. A bus with ECR written on it is the one to take.
it took 2 hrs to reach. The hostel i stayed in was in Orleanpet and i rented an activa for my 5 days trip . Rental charge for activa is 250/day. Rested for the day.
The hostel was really nice. Made so many new friends. Today was to explore promenade , the beach was really clean and beautiful. There is a handicraft shopping area near beach bought a souvenir.
For dinner i visited at Cafe Xtasi , farm fresh pizza a really good choice to go with.
Buy some things from local market and then went back to hostel.
After a lazy day at hostel i visited the sacred heart of basilica church that was opposite to railway station. Spent the whole evening there in peace and admiring interior of the church .
Later visited the serenity beach.
For my next few days i planned to stay in Auroville, that i will cover in my next post.
