Anantha Heritage Hotel is located in the heart of Pondicherry. It's walking distance to the beach, White Town and most of the main attractions including popular cafes.
This vintage property was transformed from a Haveli to a hotel for travellers. Rooms are huge and very comfortable with a beautiful view of a temple and the temple tank.
The staff made us feel like home and attended to all our needs. We wanted to rent a motor bike and drive down to Auroville and they immediately helped us with one at a very cheap rate. They even told us the do's and don'ts about the city.
Breakfast was simple with a choice of either south Indian or continental.
There is nothing about this place that won't make you feel like home. The lobby also has a chess board in case you want to just spend time at the hotel.
