Adventures in New Zealand

At Kerikeri I stayed at the Kauri Cliffs Lodge. The lodge has wonderful facilities and the property is stunning to say the least. The key highlights of my stay at Kerikeri was the helicopter excursion, horseback riding and winery visits.

From Kerikeri, I took a Boat Cruise through the Bay of Islands to Waitangi Wharf. The cruising boat is a totally unique way to experience New Zealand's world famous Bay of Islands with the Northland landscapes and marine environment. I enjoyed some kayaking with the on board kayaks and also went for some snorkelling! After spending the day on the cruise and Waitangi Wharf I went back to Kauri Cliffs.

After spending another day at Kerikeri, I took a flight to Taupo, via Auckland. Here I stayed at the Huka Lodge. The mighty Huka Falls is a short stroll away from the lodge and is a must visit. Also a must try is the white-water rafting. The next day I went on a Fly Fishing excursion to a remote backcountry stream

At Queenstown, I stayed at The Spire hotel. On the 1st day at Queenstown, I took the gondola to the top of Bob’s Peak for an amazing view of the area. The next day I went for the Milford Sound Helicopter Excursion with Glacier Landing. The experience was surreal. The helicopter sweeps through the Southern Alps, over the secluded alpine lakes and lush forest of Fiordland National Park. We flew the full length of the fiord before reaching the rugged West Coast with several landings en-route. On my last day in Queenstown I went for a jet boat wilderness safari through the Dart River.
