Meghalaya : Wettest Place on Earth.

We have started our journey from Bhubaneswar , took a train and after a Day we end up our long journey at Guwahati : Gateway of Seven sisters states.

Booked a room near Guwahati railway station. We have a day in our hand so we tried to cover as much places as we can.

Visited Kamakahya , Boat ride in Umananda , Palatan Bazar.

Mode of transport - We took a bus near station .

Food to try - Roadside momo at Paltan bazar.

We started our journey to Shillong next morning , Booked a Cab for whole trip till return back to guwahati.

On a way we stopped at Umium lake , went to Elephant Waterfall , Shillong peak , Ward's Lake and at the end Don Bosco Museum .

Trip enter third day , it was going by a plan first it was to visit world wettest place (Cherrapunji : we read it in text book) But Mawsynram is the latest . Cherrapunji is basically a Waterfall , Nohkalikai , We tried to reach bottom of it by trekking but after certain point there was large bushes so we stop at that point. After that we had a lunch and went to Mawsmai Cave which was ancient . Then we went to devil rock .

Enter day 4 for India cleanest village Mawlynnong village , food there was awesome , we have some farms egg . We went to living root bridge , trek for some time , on return we have take one wrong turn . End of the day was for shopping to buy some local goods , we went to Shillong famous Police Bazar.

Day 5 enter and we are returning back with a day in hand so we decided to visit kaziranga National Park , take a jeep on rent , spend some leisure time at cottage , rhinos , tigress baby cub , birds , reptiles and elephant .

Ended a day with camp fire :).
