A day in Tenga Valley, Arunachal Pradesh

Tenga. A lesser known place to visit. I was the only tourist there. Just me and the locals and it was a place to remember.

When I had no plans to halt over this place but due to the pathetic road conditions our car broke down and my driver had to return to guwahati leaving me behind and I swear on God this was the prettiest unfortunate event eva happened to me. I enjoyed every moment. Staying with the locals, eating the spiciest chutney, hiking to the monastery and talking to them for hours.

What was magical was the river corner. It was just a min walk away from where I was staying. I used to spend hours there having beer and samosa and Yes again with the spiciest chutney listening to the bird chirping, the sound of the water, dim lights and that was a perfect dinner date.
