I am from India, and I have been travelling since quite a long and I have received many questions be it from my friends or colleagues, that how to travel foreign countries at a cheaper rate and low cost.
So here are a few places where You can travel withing Rs 50000 to Rs 60000 to lovely foreign countries and also you will be shocked to know that you can travel foreign with just Rs 20000 to Rs 25000 in your pocket just will a plan execution. So lets get started with the first countries.
Indonesia: Well well, Indonesia is one of the cheapest and must visit destination for backpackers. Indonesia is very cheap because, 1 INDIAN RUPEES is equal to 200 INDONESIAN RUPIAH. Hostels and hotels starts at a mere price of just Rs 500 to Rs 1000 for double occupancy and as long as foods are concerned there are plenty of Indian Restaurant in almost all the tourist destinations there. Flights starts at just Rs 25000 thousand for a return trip so an approximation of a 7 Nights/8 Days trip to Indonesia from India will cost around Rs 45000 assuming that you stay at a good hotel and if you chose to stay in hostels the prices will be further less and a 7 Nights/8 Days trip will cost you around Rs 35000. Thailand: Well probably the most visited destination within Asia. 1 Indian rupees is around 0.54 bhatt in Thailand (however, actually it is 2 bhatt for 1 Indian Rupees which has gone down due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and will restore soon). Thailand has it all, name it from parties to nature to culture you will get it all there and that too at a price that will blow you. A 7 Nights/8 Days trip to Thailand will cost you around Rs 30000 or even less at Rs 25000 depending on the way you plan your trip. A double occupancy room at a hotel in Thailand will cost you around Rs 1500 to Rs 3000 depending on the quality and hostel dorms will cost you around Rs 700 to Rs 1000 per night. Plenty of Indian Food options are available throughout Thailand and will cost you around Rs 200 for a moderate food rest depends on your way of spending. A return flight from India will cost you around Rs 10000 and less or more depending on which part of India you stay, for example from Kolkata it takes Rs 7000 and from Delhi it takes Rs 10000.
Cambodia: Cambodia is another dream place to visit for budget backpackers. 1 Indian Rupees in Cambodia is equal to 54 Cambodian riel. Good double occupancy hotels will start from around Rs 1500 to Rs 1700 and hostels are way cheaper around Rs 500 to Rs 700 per night also some hostels provide free pool parties and free shots as well. You will not find as many Indian restaurant as you find in Thailand but there will surely be no shortage of food and Indian restaurants are not completely omitted from Cambodia, you will find them but not to often. But Cambodian foods are not that bad either. A round flight from India will cost you nothing more that Rs 8000 ( I saw this from Yatra.com) . So again a total cost for and 7 Nights/8 Days trip to Cambodia will not cost more than Rs 25000 to Rs 30000.
