Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen has approved the lifting of the travel ban on travelers from India as informed by Cambodia's Health Minister, Mam Bunheng in a statement.
The process of removing the travel ban will commence from 7th August 2021 onwards. Cambodia had imposed the ban on Indians as well as other passengers traveling to Cambodia through India in late April to control the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant.
Cambodia was under the threat of COVID-19's third wave since 20th February 2021 but there has been a visible decline in the number of cases reported recently as per the figures produced by their healthy ministry.
So now that Cambodia has lifted the travel ban on Indians, you can proceed with your travel plans to Cambodia!
