Phuket is Thailand's largest islands and most popular one also. Surrounded by many smaller islands, Phuket not only offers some of the most beautiful beaches but also a vibrant and happening nightlife. But I found this hidden gem while I was in Phuket - and it's the Old Town!
Old Phuket Town is a small area, and you can walk around to cover it very quickly. However, I’ll recommend you to take things little slowly, and explore the gorgeous cafes and postcard-perfect streets around you.
It’s worth visiting for anyone looking to sit back and relax to enjoy a healthy lunch or some quick munchies. The Old Town offers picturesque sceneries, delicious cuisine, and brightly painted, century-old Sino-Portuguese townhouses.
As I walked down the lanes, I was reminded of my beloved city, Calcutta (India) which also has such old-world vibes - but of course, every place has something unique to it.
