Day 1

We, total of 8 friends left from Ahmedabad at 3 in the morning of 16th February.  Roads till Jaisalmer are beautiful and very scenic.  We reached hotel Tokyo palace by 1 PM.  It took us around 10 hours to reach with 3-4 haults. On the way we visited old haunted village of kuldhara. Be aware of the watchmen, he is more scary then the place.🤪  Hotel Tokyo palace is on main road.  With very huge space in room, enough for 3 people easily.

After having lunch and getting fresh at around 3, we all went to Jaisalmer fort for brief tour. As it was desert festival, there was not much rush at fort. All were enjoying at desert- Sam dunes. After a brief tour to fort. There is a famous Bhang shop at entranceway  of fort. It's a must try. But if you are first timer, dont go for heavy dose. Later at eve, We all went to Gadisar lake which is near to fort I.e 3 km approx.

Gadisar lake is beautiful lake. You can always enjoy the scenic beauty and rajasthani folk music at lake

Day 2

After having great dinner at Cafe kaku, all had awesome breakfast at Tokyo palace roof top with view of Jaisalmer fort.

Today, we left for longewala post.  This place holds a very important part of my journey. It is about 120 km from Jaisalmer. But the route is worthy.  You can't miss a single scene of dunes on the way. The importance of longewala post world be shared here. For that you have to watch the short movie made by Indian army.

Tanot Mata temple, Longewala- The temple is enveloped with numerous legends that instil curiosity in every visitor. Although it is located very close to the India-Pakistan border, it remained untouched during the war in 1971

We had lunch at restaurant run by Indian army at the same place. Visit this place to regain your love for your country.

After visiting Longewala we left for Jaisalmer at around 2 pm. On the way we went to bada bagh. Don't miss the sunset from this place.
