This was my first family trip (read: With parents, my sister and my in-laws).. So obviously it was a bit of a pressure.. Thankfully it wasn't my first trip to Singapore.. So I broadly knew the places I would like to take my family. So a gang of 7 landed in Singapore on 21st Oct. My husband and I had done a good amount of research and shortlisted holiday Inn Clarke quay... Since we had reached 4 hours ahead to the official check in time, we decided not wasting our time and headed out for some breakfast and then made our way to the Singapore flyer for some great views of the city... Spent the latter part of the day visiting the Singapore night safari.. If you ask me, the variety of animals wasn't something that ll blow your mind but hey its a good thing a family could do together...
Day 2: Next day was Sentosa for us.. The underwater world aquarium, the luge, walking around the beaches etc.. In the evening we headed out to Chinatown..
Day 3: Sentosa - the Universal Studios.. Despite this bring a Friday, there was crazy amount of rush.. But we managed to have a good time there.. Tip : don't go here during the weekends!
Day 4: Decided to take it easy and wondered around Orchard street.. Did a bit of shopping.. And then headed out to little India for lunch( read: by day 3,one starts craving for a little dal and roti)... We then headed out to Gardens by the Bay.. This is a must do in Singapore.. The light and sound show happens twice a day...worth watching.. Dinner was then at Clarke Quay
Day 5: Mustafa (yeah how can an Indian not go here!), chilling at the pool and enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing
All in all it was a great trip.. Great time with the family with some really good memories :)
