Amarnath trek leads you to the one of the holiest naturally occurring shrines of the Hindu faith. Every year during the time of Srawan Purnamasi thousands of devotees (old, young, children ) from all around the India trek to Amarnath to see the natural occurring ice stalagmite of Shiva. It's an abode of Lord Shiva who, as Lord of death, hold the secret of immortality. It's a place of Immortal one and, therefore, the goal of mortals.
Preparation
It was my summer vacation. My cousins had decided to go on a adventurous trip. My Uncle Mr. Ganpat Singh is a Travelling agency owner. We decided to talk to him about this trip. So, he suggested AMARNATH for this. We were also excited for this.
J&K Govt. announced new directives for all Amarnath Yatries to get their yatra registered from registered bank. In our team there were about 50 yatris for this yatra. Among them, all the members were closely friends.
Mr. Vikram Panwar voluntarily rendered his services to get the registration from the Bank and do the registration through his own contacts. Mr. Ganpat Singh is a travel agency owner who bringing us for the pilgrimage. Actually he was my Uncle so it was our really a best trip for us.
On the way to Amarnath
DAY 1, Jodhpur to Suratgarh(Rajsathan)
We had to start our journey from Jodhpur. It was a precious morning. Around 10 a.m. We went to Ganesh Temple, Ratanada & took blessings from the god and our parents.
We started our journey. Our first stop was Deshnok mataji Temple(Bikaner). This temple was know for mouse It is also known as Mouse Temple in Rajasthan. There were thousands of mouses, and on every step there is mouses around our feet. It was such a beautiful place.
Day 2,Suratgarh to Amritsar(Punjab)
Next morning we took blessing of guru and took langar and also gives our service in langar. It was also a very beautiful moment for us.
And then we again started our joyfull Journey.
Punjab is really a beautiful state of India. Everywhere It is surrounded by the beauty of Nature. We have seen so many scenes there so it makes our journey more beautiful.
At the time of toll taxation in Punjab there was km's long line of vehiches for permit process.
We reached at Amritsar at 4 p.m. We stayed there at a Dharmashala in middle of amritsar. We took rest and get refreshed.
After it, we went to Golden Temple.The real beauty of golden temple is at night time only. Best time of Darshan is in early morning (5 - 8 am) but if you are lazy beauty, then you can prefer 10-11 pm. Enjoy Baba ka Langer there. Don't be in a dilemma that they will serve you Kadai paneer, naan but I guarantee you will enjoy the devotion of devotees there.
Then we came to our rooms and slept.
Day 3-4, Amritsar to Jammu(J&K)
Then we went to Jhalianwala Bagh. It is very close to Golden Temple just 0.5 km.
There is no entry fee, It was very beautiful place related to Indian History.
There was really amazing creativity of trees as soilders and there was also a 'stambh'
It was really joyful and beautiful palace. Enjoy Amritsari Lassi in the shops adjacent to Jallianwala Bagh.
After it, we started journey to the Jammu. It was all night journey. There was really very beautiful scenes at entrance of Jammu and Kashmir.
On day 4th.At Lakhanpur Toll Plaza we stopped for some formalities of our Bus. We ate Jamun(black plum) it was really very delicious.
Then we went to Chi-Chi mata mandir. This temple was very beautiful.
Then we went to Jammu Base camp and there was very strong army protection. At the entrance there was a security check, we had provided big halls to stay at nigh so many people stay in one hall. There was a Langar where we took dinner. At night there was very high humidity so people was going to ground, Our night was very bad.
Day 5, Jammu to Pahalgam(J&K)
The army man woke up all people at 3 a.m. to get ready and prepare for dispatching. At 4.30 a.m. all the vehicles was given a special no. and thousands of vehicles dispatch at a time because of safety from terrorist attacks. Because of so many vehicles there were many traffic jams.
There was so beautiful scenes.
When we was entered in Jawahar Tunnel. We were shouting and telling shiv names loudly. Because it was very large tunnel and sound get vibrates.People enjoyed it.
It was opposite weather condition after tunnel. There was sudden cold air and most beautiful scene in the trip.
The route of Amarnath was very dangerous there were very very deeps gulfs. It was such a horror able roads of India. But also beautiful place.
And Finally we reached Pahalgam. While coming to Pahalgam the real beauty was seen there THE BEAUTY OF PAHALGAM.
