In 2022, we witnessed a series of fairy tale weddings in the country, be it Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal or Mohit Raina and Aditi Sharma. And soon, Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra will be joining this club, to host a Big Fat Indian Wedding.
The couple does not need an introduction and looks lovely together. After much speculation, we finally have sources revealing that the couple is indeed getting married.
So when and where is the wedding being held?
The couple will be tying the knot during the first week of February in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The city of Jaisalmer with it's palatial vibes and royal ambience has been the go to wedding destination for celebs for quiet sometime now.
Sources revealed that the couple is going all out to have a traditional Punjabi wedding with all the Haldi, Mehandi, Sangeet ceremonies. The sangeet and haldi will be on Day 1 and the next day is pheras.
The theme for haldi is marigold and yellow themed outfits. TThe couple were spotted in Dubai for New Year and Kiara was heard discussing the playlist for the wedding. Raatan Lambiyan is definitely on the playlist as it was a hit for both of them.
It will be a two days ceremony with only the presence of close friends and families. Their guest list includes Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Ashvini Yardi and others.
The couple will throw a lavish banquet in Mumbai for all their other friends and industry.
Has there been any official communication?
There has been no official communication from either Kiara or Sidharth Malhotra. Speaking to Radio Fever FM, Sidharth was quizzed about his wedding rumours. He blushed and responded, "I am getting married this year."
What are the couple working on professionally?
Sidharth Malhotra has a new release Mission Majnu on January 20, 2023 on Netflix. He also has a web-series Indian Police Force which will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video and the movie Yodha lined up.
While Kiara Advani is working on RC 15, starring Ram Charan.
