Do we actually learn something from people around us? Do we really care how people perceive us? Do we think we are not good at certain things & excellent in others?

Yes! we all are living a fast paced life in which we do not have time to understand ourselves and people around us. We get carried away with the flow of the moment BUT there is a push notification somewhere inside us which keeps alarming us with ideas for manifesting our own life as per our vision. It is our own choice to react on those notifications or ignore them.

As per people around me I have a wheel in my foot as traveling makes me feel complete. I have a bunch of childhood friends with whom I have travelled a lot and have got a batch on my chest for solo traveling and also with complete strangers to get a taste of different experiences.

I was never comfortable in travelling with my co-workers but this time I wanted this experience to break my comfort zone. Our whole team was full of enthusiasm for the offsite planned by our manager who was igniting fire in each one of us for the trip with a noble intentions of taking the whole team together.

Sharing 7 lessons which I have learned about Life from the trip

Live in the moment:

Our life is a journey which has so many short trips within whole journey, make sure you do not miss on these short trips in a quest for reaching your own destinations because in the end there is no destination, it is only the journey which will be counted.

Few of us were not willing to go for the trip but altered their plans for the trip and when we were talking about our experiences about the trip the light in their eyes were evident enough to convince us that they have got memories to cherish.

The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it. Richard Bach

Power of Group Energy

We all participated in the adventure activities which were not easy for most of us but we all were able to complete those only because of the group energy and endless motivational roars.

Each one of us have our own strengths and weakness, for few of us hanging in the middle of the valley looking 1000 feet down at 2590 meters above the sea level is impossible but in the end we all were able to complete 50 meters valley crossing to & fro all because of sheer group energy and inspiration from each other. It was the moment when we could see energy inducing across each other in few transient moments.

I am sure that many of us would have not participated if they would have been doing this alone but inspiration was contagious within the whole pack.

When team is together, it can achieve any goal and success effectively as Michael Jordan has quoted” Talent wins game, But team work and Intelligence wins championships”

Being unaware of our potentials

We really underestimate ourselves in terms of our abilities as we must have read in many motivational blogs and books that the only thing which is not letting us achieve our dream and goal is our mind’s perception.

After completing rock climbing there was different kind of energy in the air, we got the same feeling as if India has won a match with Pakistan and we were feeling like man of the match “Sachin Tendulkar”.

A person who lives a very simple life full of spirituality quoted “I felt like Tom Cruise of Mission Impossible “after completing the Rappelling. I learned that fear should never decide our fate.

The track/path might look very difficult because it’s too narrow or slippery or full of obstacles, however if we just focus on putting the next step properly then it’s not anymore about the difficult track instead it’s just about “one step at a time”

Acceptance

Our whole group was an amalgamation of different personalities, sizes and also beliefs. We have people who live life as if there is no tomorrow and enjoy partying like animals and there are few who dedicate one hour to their prayers every morning.

Working under the same roof and living under the same tent is not always a same kind of experience, through which many of us were able to understand each other’s beliefs but after having long discussions under the stars over the clouds in the warmth of the bon fire there was an intellect of acceptance for each other’s methodology for living.

Everyone is beautiful

We humans are wired in a fashion that we start collecting data whenever we meet someone for the first time and then we keep piling up the data and behaves unconsciously as per that data. “We judge ourselves by our intentions and others by their behavior” as quoted by Stephen Covey.

“We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do” Mother Teresa

Fortunately, we are humans with natural Intelligence (not artificial) and have wisdom to break this algorithm and become real time with our reactions.

We all had perceptions for each other which got changed by going through some experiential incidences and getting opportunity to know each other in a better way. In the end we were finding every one beautiful in their own way and gratitude was flowing in conversations.

“Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen” John Goethe

Nature is best thing happened to Mankind

We all were sipping wine, whisky, vodka and some were enjoying Juices only; on the top of the mountain with a warmth of bon fire, clouds playing hide and seek as their presence used to make us blind with our vision and opened the eyes of our souls. Within this whole ambience we could see a distant mountain peak which was orgasmic & kept us awestruck for some time. Pictures can only capture a small essence of the moment as it can only be lived.

It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.― Henry David Thoreau

I learned that nature has its own affinity with a very powerful thrust which has a very strong healing effect on our souls and we should keep ourself in touch with it always.

Limitless

Boys were behaving like Bradley copper of Limitless and Girls as Scarlett Johansson of Lucy as we all had an overnight journey full of singing and sharing ghost stories and then had a long day full of physical activities and we all just wanted to spend some more time on mountains meditating with our conversations and experiences. Our energy levels were higher than Burj Khalifa resulting in infinite time.

This made me learn that we always have a scope of pushing ourselves more and which can help us in creating time for things which we keep procrastinating.
