Macau is located on the southeast coast of China. It is about 60 kilometres to southwest of Hongkong. It takes one hour to get there by ferry from Hongkong.
1. I love to visit Macau because it is one of the underrated travel destinations in the world.
2. What attracts me the most is Macau's Old Tiapa Village which is one of the traditional villages that still exists in Macau.
3. I love to see Monte Fort there which is almost 400 years old stone fort which offers superb sunset and casino views from the top.
4. I love to visit Macau between October to December so that I can enjoy warm and sunny weather with low humidity.
5. I love to enjoy duty free shopping in Macau. There are many malls and shops offering antiques, the latest style of clothing, perfumes, cosmetics, jewellery and much more.
6. I love to visit Macau because it has great beaches such as The Hac Sa Beach is Macau's largest beach and is located on the southeast region of Colane Island. It is famous for its black sand, the colour of which can be attributed to the minerals that are washed ashore.
7. Macau is also famous for museums, parks and zoos including the extremely underrated Macau Giant Panda Pavillion.
8. The bright lights of Casinos and hotels of the city attracts the visitors to explore the area.
9. Numerous points of interest includes Macau Cathedral, Fisherman's wharf, Senado Square, Ruins of St. Paul and the Macau Tower.
10. Macau is a adult friendly place because of its casinos and gamblers appreciate the entertainment that Macau provides.
11. But that doesn’t mean that Macau is not child friendly. It is good for children due to ride in a Venetian Macau Gondola for an amazing Venetian experience and a visit to the famous Dream Works Experience at the Cotai Strip.
12. Food alone can be a major reason why anyone should visit the place. Portuguese fried rice, charcoal roasted seafood, Macanese egg tart and the street food are the Macau's speciality.
13. Macau is a complementary blend of nature and culture. It includes Garden of Arts, Casa Garden, Coloane Park, Sun Yat Sen Park and Victory Garden.
14. As i love photography, multicultural influence in Macau attracts the photographers. It is easy for them to create a unique photo essay because there are so many things that can be captured.
15. The House of Dancing Water, the world's largest water based show is an award winning acrobatic and stunt filled spectacle at the City of Dreams resort.
16. Macau also provides visitors one of the relaxing transportation that is on cycle rickshaws. Guides will peddle and drive you around while explaining the history and significance of places throughout Macau.
17. Macanese bakeries are known for offering lots of great cookies, pastries, bread and other baked goods.
18. Go fishing along the Pacific coast. You can cast your lines on the beach or join a fishing tour that will take you far on the ocean for deep sea fishing.
19. The Lotus is the symbol of Macau and appears on Macanese flag. Visitors must go to the Lotus Square and marvel at the bronze sculpture Lotus flower in Full Bloom which lights up at the night.
20. Due to all above reasons mentioned I must say Macau is worth going trip and I love to visit there.
