Goa is in mind for very long time, empty pockets never let me go there. Here after few years when a planning for a trip Goa was my first priority.

Its actually subjective, From november to January is the season in goa but as usual nothing is cheap in season so i suggest you to prefer October last ( will be little bit sunny) or november first half.

You will get all kind of budget room/ home stay in goa. Worrying about stay in goa is point less expect new year 😂 . But i can suggest something about stay. Booking a high end room in goa is worthless because you won't came to enjoy the stay, you came to explore the goa so go for budget friendly stay.
Dont book room near to baga area, price will be little expensive, you can book near Anjuna beach. Baga beach is near by only so you can ride to baga in 10 minutes. If your planning to celebrate new year in goa you should book the rooms 3 weeks prior.

The first thing we have to do once we reach room, take a bike for rent. You will get bike for less than 300/day. Dont rush to Goa, take rest slowly get in to the flow.
Riding in Goan villege road is an awesome experience, preferably evening time. Have some ride in the evening to no where, just enjoy the villege road. You will see some beautiful church in paddy fields, some memorable sceneries.

Goa is place where you have to get into the vibe, if your expecting some site seeing only better to prefer some other location, obviously there are much things to do in goa but if you are not getting to the vibe of Goa it's worthless.
