About the property:
Anamiva in Sanskrit means ‘home’ or ‘happy state’ and this vedic or Indian interpretation is a recurring theme you’ll notice in every part of the décor. Hindu animal totems such as a pair of elephants at the entrance, a frog spouting water in the front lawn, a fish by the pool and staircased waterfalls at the entrance’s glass doors that meander all the way up to the pool across the restaurant.
From natural stones and furniture sourced from Moradabad, Rajasthan and Gujarat to the jaali wall patterns running across the hotel's exterior, the lobby and even inside the bathrooms, add to this Indie-vibe. The ones with a keen eye will also mark the chic usage of copper in their accessories, as well as thalis fitted into coffee tables and spherical tea boxes.
The brain-child of a Delhi-based painter "Anita Lamba", Anamiva doubles up as a gallery that showcases the growing art of young talent scouted by the Museum of Goa.
This artsy and Instagrammable hotel is a project with ambitious plans and offers high-end facilities including a pristine tropical-themed pool. At the highest point of the multi-level resort, is the open-air Yana wellness center that will soon offer Thai, Balinese and Ayurveda spa experiences and also feature Goa’s first microbrewery, which will serve local Goan brews.

Food:
There are two in-house eateries to satisfy all your hunger cravings. The first Pão Café, is named after Goa’s staple bread, and the other a fine-dining restaurant called the MOYO Kitchen.
Since Anamiva’s reception is set within the Pão Café, you can unwind with a creamy cold coffee while the front desk staff checks you in.
