Located at Angamaly, The Village is a perfect retreat for those who wish to enjoy calm serene atmosphere and nature.
We decided to spend a day here for our college reunion.
Location :Nearly 38 km from Ernakulam South Railway station and it took us around 1 hour drive to reach the place.
Cost : We were a group of 18 adults and 5 kids. It cost us Rs 1300 per head for adults and Rs 650 for kids.
Note :We had booked from morning till evening for 20 people.
Inclusions :
Up on arrival we were served welcome drink of lemonade and sandwich.
A two bedroom a/c cottage with attached bathroom for us to get fresh and spend our time chit chatting remembring those carefree days.
The cottage was a perfect blend of traditional kerala architecture with wood work and modern amenities.
After few rounds of games and songs we moved to the restaurant inside the resort for lunch. The menu included traditional kerala style cuisine of vegetarian and kerala fish curry and chicken curry, chicken fry etc .
After lunch we took a walk around the place, enjoying the garden and atmosphere.
There was a basketball court and kids had fun playing. Nearby there was swimming pool and a small pool for kids.
We then proceeded to room and had tea and snacks. It was a heart warming experience for all of us and a break from our office routine especially since we were meeting after a decade.
Finally with a heavy heart we all parted ways in the evening around 5 pm.
It was a truly refreshing experience .
