Vishakapatnam is one the best places I have ever visited, the view is just wow we have sea on one side and on the other side we have moutainsβ€οΈ....I went during february and we pre booked everything. There are a lot of places where you can visit in Vishakapatnam.
I'd say to first visit the museum and have a nice walk on the beach, the beaches here are so clean and they look amazing.
Points to keep in mind.
1. Book your hotel near the beach.
2. Get a cab or self driven cars booked.
3. It's not a weekend trip.
4. Do visit Araku valley.
So you'll find plenty of places to visit in vizag, but let me tell you the most important one of them which are my personal favourite.
1. Kailasagiri : There is view point at kailasagiri which is amazing and you should visit that place and get a couple of good pictures there.
2. Dolphin nose: You'll get the full view of vizag from here.
3. Simhachalam Temple: Its a nice place to visit too and it is also built on a mountain.
4. Ross Hill Church: It is also a nice place and the view from here was awesome.
5. Katiki Waterfall: So this one is on the way to Araku Valley and please don't think that you'll be able to take your car inside because the government has already provided jeeps for that purpose and you have to pay for the same...do take plenty of cash there and also if you want to have bamboo chicken you need to have cash...online payments don't work there.
