On 9th oct 21 after visiting Chennai Government Museum we had lunch and headed to Tirupati and reached by 5.30 PM. As we don't have online tickets for darshan we only took darshan of temple and hold our palms togather, expressed our spiritual emotions/deep respect to Lord Venkateswara. And stayed at Shriniwas lodge.
10th Oct morning we went to Shriniwasa Mangapuram Temple which is 12 km away from Tirupati. The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu and is referred to as Kalyana Venkateswara.
Today, Sri Kalyan Venkateswara swami temple is considered sacred, next to Tirumala Temple. Those who are unable to make it to Tirumala, can have darshan of Lord Kalyan Venkateswara. There was a queue for darshan, it took an half our for darshan. This is a Beautiful temple.
Peaceful ancient place. This temple is great alternative for those who don't have proper darshan of Tirumala. Idol here is same as one in the Tirumala.
After darshan of Sriniwasa, we went to ISKCON temple which is 11 km away from Shriniwasa Mangapuram Temple. It is just 5-6 km from Tirupati Bus stand and railway station. The sculptures, ambiance and environment are soothing.
Very spiritual and beautiful place to relax your mind. Iskcon Krishna temple at tirupathi is one of the major pilgrims sights in India. Here we donated Rs.116/- This is odd figure but according to their chart 116/- is amount for feeding 20 kids at one time. We took prasadam of laddu Rs.50/- for 1 piece, but laddu is big size.
Then we came to lodge, packed our bags and at 2 PM started for Gandicota, but near kadappa village we stayed at hotel Anjana Grand. On 11th October at 12.30 PM leaved hotel for Gandikota. On the way had lunch and reached Gandikota at 4PM. Tirupati to Gandikota distance is 230 km.
