Somasila - Go,Chill,Come
Somasila village Situated on river Krishna is a temple town in kollapur Mandal Nagar kurnool district which is situated at 175 km from Hyderabad .As the journey time is 3 to 4 hours it stands as one of the perfect weekend getaway.
Best time to Visit :
Monsoon : The Krishna river will be flowing at Peak ,so if you want to witness the Peakness of river you can go in Monsoon
Winter : I think it is the Ideal time to visit the Somasila as weather will be chilling and water will be at normal condition

There is another option of Camping tents ( Cheap ) by taking rent from the local people and you can pitch it anywhere you want on banks of river
Food : you can taste the dishes of fishes which are brought from the River which is very cheap .

2.Lalitha someshwara temple - Somasila Village
3.Sangameshwara temple - Boating
4.Pangal Fort
we Group of 5 friends started from hyderabad around 8 am with the lunch packed for the day.The journey was fun with music and shitty jokes.we reached to somasila haritha hotel by afternoon 1 pm and we checked in to haritha hotel.
Pro tip : Book Haritha Hotel before a Month or around as there will be a huge demand for haritha hotel
Then we had our lunch (which is Home packed ) and played cards in the room as it was hot out side as we went in the summer time.
In the evening the sun set was decent and ate snacks near the local cafe and went to lalitha someshwara temple with 12 to 14 jyothirlingas and spent some time in the temple.and then we played out and out near the banks of river.
DAY 2 : In the early morning we woke up at 6 am and went to the banks of river and the sun rising on river was awesome to watch.Its calm,Its Serene.and it made me think once in a while it is better to go some where to beat the out monotony of life.we took a lot of photos on the banks of river
And then we went to the room and got freshup and had breakfast then went for Boating in the River.

The Sangameswara temple is a Hindu temple in the Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located near Somasila village and half n hour journey in the boat which is in the foreshore of the Srisailam reservoir. The speciality of temple is that the temple will be submerged in 6 months in water in the monsoon season and it will be viewed subsequently from winter to summer.The Boat Journey will be awesome to the temple ( Don't Miss it )
Then we went to the room and checked out and then left to hyderabad with lots of Memories.
