#Scintillating Shamirpet Lake#
As we are in Hyderabad for sometime so thought of exploring the nature .Post Covid exploring is also different and little slow .
We thought of going to #Shamirpet Lake#
We are staying near Trimulgherry.
From here Shamirpet Lake is 16 km .We went by car as it is advisable for families .We started at around 4.30 pm and reached there in 25 minutes .Drive is beautiful as we passed through cantonment area and it was full of greenery .
P.S - Keep sometime in your hand as you may get traffic sometime .
Little information about this place for you all :
It is a man-made lake, which was dug more than 50 years ago for the purpose of serving water needs of the areas around. It was dug by the then Jagirdar of Shamirpet area. This lake is also called a 'Pedda Cheruvu', which means big lake in the local Telugu language.

Try to reach before sunset to view beutiful sunset .
P.S - Weather is quite pleasant right now .
Carry your snacks and beverages with you because there is no shops .But in between you will get many Dhabas and resturant option .
Last but not least stay safe and wear mask all the time .
