In return we went to mallela theertham waterfalls which is 55km from srisailam. We have reached mallela theertham water falls by 4:30pm. You have to pay 40/- toll in a small village before coming to here. Entry ticket per person is 20/- ticket counter is open from morning 8 to evening 5. No food options available. Stay options are there but they are closed due to ongoing epidemic. Its one of the beautiful waterfalls i have seen in my life. we spent around 2 hours here. from here we came back to hyderabad in the same route by 9pm.

We are four friends started from Hyderabad orr at 4AM. At exit 17 on ORR you have to the exit and enter into srisailam highway. Our first stop is Dindi reservoir.

We have reached dindi reservoir at 6:30 am. It is 130km distance from Hyderabad. excellent roads up to here. You have to cross one toll gate. Charge is around 40 rupees. No food options available en-route as it is early morning and in telangana normally hotels open after 7am. tea stalls are available. We spend around half and hour here. Its a water reserovir for irrigation purpose. Its on right side of highway. After this we went to srisailam dam.

It is two and half hours journey from dindi reservoir. on the way you have to cross ghat road. it takes two hours to cross the ghat road. ghat road is open at 6am and closed at 9pm as it is a forest area. This is nallamala forest area. After entering into ghat road there is a toll gate. Ticket cost is 50/- one way. Food options are available on ghat road and road is very scenic. There are one are two view points but, they are closed when we visited. You will directly reach to dam from ghat road.

We have reached srisailam dam by 9 am. spend a good 2 hours time there.. Roads are excellent. don't go on weekends if the dam gates are open. due to so many visitors we are stuck in traffic for 3 hours. in our trip day 7 gates are open. It all depends on rains. so, do enquiry before going. From there we went to srisailam temple which is 16km from the dam but, took us around 2 hours to reach because of heavy traffic and ghat road. roads are good but narrow. You will cross a small village where villagers are selling fresh fish from dam water. Because of this traffic jam happened in our journey as so many people stop their car to in the middle of the road to buy fish. Once we finished darsanam we came back to dam again and spent another one hour. Time is around 2 PM. we finished our lunch at srisailam temple area. most of the food options are vegetarian. They have started serving lunch from 1PM. before that only tiffins available.
