I reached Vishakhapatnam by train, over night journey from Cuttack, Odisha. It was 6 am when I reached the station and there by I booked one day package trip to Araku for next day from Andhra Pradesh tourism counter located at Vishakhapatnam railway station.
I took an auto to Oyo nearby railway station which I have pre-booked.
After breakfast I hired an activa on rent and headed towards Rushikonda beach. There is even option for water sports.
I enjoyed my lunch at Rushikonda beach and headed towards Kailash Giri hill.

One can also enjoy ropeway and toy train at Kailash Giri hill top.
In the evening I visited INS kushagra and aircraft museum near RK beach.
It was worth visiting submarine museum. One will get to know now challenging life is in a submarine.
I joined the package trip troop to Araku - a small hill station near Vizag which is about 100 kms from Vizag.
Inclusion in package trip: Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks.

It is advisable to buy spices and coffee from Araku.
I enjoyed bamboo chicken in lunch.
Post lunch tribal dance is organised in the hotel.
In the evening I had some export quality coffee at coffee museum and then visited Borra caves.
It was a 3 days trip. On the 3rd day I planned to visit Yarada beach.
I tried some sea food also.
I hired an activa for the day. But it is advisable to hire a local cab or auto since the roads are stiff.
Vizag light house has a wonderful view- dolphin nose view. It opens at 3 pm. So before that I visited Yarada beach. It has its own beauty.
