We all love to explore and visit new tourist spots. While at it- one thing I love to do is prepare as much as possible so I will not be a panic mode in any unforeseen circumstances.

On a similar note, Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on February 14, launched 20 tourist police outposts to boost tourism security in important religious and tourist places. The launch was held online from the Tadepalli camp office.

How will the tourist outposts be operated?

Run by six trained personnel including women constables, each outpost will be headed by an SI or ASI-ranked officer. The security kiosks will work as an additional police station and attend to complaints from tourists for immediate action.

The outposts will be linked with the local police stations.

The CM while interacting with the police officers also suggested that phone numbers of the police officials should be prominently displayed at all the tourist police outposts.
