The experience of exploring Hyderabad can be intimidating. After all there is so much to see and do in this energetic city, itβs simple to get lost in the commotion. Even while it may not seem like there is enough time to explore everything Hyderabad has to offer in a very short time frame, we made the decision to push our self and make the most of our 3 days.
We embarked on a journey of discovery with defined itinerary, stopping at bustling markets, serene gardens, and scrumptious food along the way. We also tried new foods, explored new neighbourhoods, and learned about the people, culture, and history of this amazing town.
The Foremost Reasons to Visit Hyderabad
1. Stunning Architectural Design
Hyderabad has an Islamic past and is home to the magnificent Charminar mosque, one of the most recognisable buildings in the city with its four towers. Among many other historical sites, you can visit Golconda Fort, the former capital of a mediaeval kingdom, and Chowmahalla Palace, where royalty once welcomed guests.
2. Delectable Meals
Hyderabad's dining scene blends the cuisines of North and South India, offering a wide range of options from street food to sophisticated fine dining rooms and trendy hangouts. Along with Western and other international options that serve the city's many business travellers, you'll also find a lot of Arabic and Turkish influences.
3. Welcoming People
Numerous diverse ethnic groups, cultures, and faiths can be found in Hyderabad. Being in the company of friendly locals is an added bonus for any visitor exploring a new place. Hyderabad people are immensely welcoming and really happy to have guests. Hyderabad's picturesque setting and endearing populace draw tourists back time and time again. Here, we've come across some of the friendliest and most welcoming individuals.
4. Exquisite Shopping
Hyderabad offers a plethora of shopping options, ranging from modern malls and boutiques to centuries-old traditional bazaars. Hyderabad is a major hub for the trade in jewellery, which includes everything from fashion items to real pearls and precious metals. Hyderabad was formerly known as the "City of Pearls."

Our stay at Katriya hotels and towers:
We left from the Goa airport and arrived in Hyderabad early in the morning, around 5:30 a.m. The hotel is located in a calm area. There is ample sitting in the gorgeous hotel lobby. There is a tasty and substantial breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean and well-organized. We stayed here nearly 10 months ago, so I'm not sure about the hotel's current state, therefore it's best to read reviews before making a reservation.

Places we visited
Charminar:
Our visit to the Charminar was a visual feast, the ideal fusion of the vibrant past and the current. Reaching the summit of the tower was like ascending into a realm of captivating vistas. The ionic charminar itself served as a symbol of Hyderabad's rich history, and the city itself unrolled like a colourful tapestry from above.

Golconda Fort:
Among the most exquisite and lovely forts. I always go there when I'm in Hyderabad. very tidy and well-kept location; the unclean public restrooms are the only negative aspect, though it's not a major concern. Due to the heat in Hyderabad, it is best to visit in the morning or evening if you intend to climb all the steps.

It used to be a nice place. I adored this zoological park in the past. But it's not being properly maintained now. They don't seem to be taking good care of animals properly. Still It's worthwhile to go once.

The Lumbini Park is a worthwhile destination, located near the well-known standing statue of the Buddha and Hussain Sagar Lake, the largest artificial lake in Asia. Everyone comes to this park, which is a good spot to unwind. It is very well-liked by children. It is more akin to a little amusement park situated beside a stunning lake in the middle of the city.
Entry Ticket: 20Rs/person
Laser show: 50Rs/person

For those who enjoy art and history, the location is fantastic. We had visited over the weekend, so it was completely packed. However, I've heard that, no matter the day, practically all of the tourist attractions in Hyderabad are consistently packed. The museum has a tonne of attractions. It was worth waiting for the musical clock, which we did. The sections on metal and elephant tusks are excellent.
Entry Ticket: 50Rs/person
Snow World:
In the middle of the city, Snow World had the best setup. Excellent condition and atmosphere. Nice area to enjoy snow that isn't real.
650Rs/person
Birla Madir:
One of the most serene and wonderful temples I have ever seen. Despite the crowd, you feel at ease. Their security system is kept in excellent condition. The temple is stunning, especially at night. Because it is perched on a hill, it offers breathtaking views of the city and the lake.

Ramoji Film City:
India's version of Universal Studios, Ramoji Film City, is only a short drive outside of the city. The largest film studio in the world, where you can ride rides, learn about techniques, and visit sets where popular Indian films are made. A pleasant choice for families.
Ramoji Day Tour Package: 1350Rs/person
Sudha Car Museum:
I was really disappointed with this place because I had high expectations. Both money and time are being wasted. It has a junk yard vibe to it. The vehicles are merely copies. and some non-car-shaped models, such as those for shoes, cups, burgers, pens, sharpeners, cakes, and other items I fail to see why they made it. It's not even kept up properly. Moreover, a ticket must be purchased in order to view this.
Entry Fee: 60Rs/person

Shopping
The western parts of the city's shopping streets, Punjagutta and Ameerpet, have grown into major hubs for retail activity and are home to massive malls. With several of the best shops in the city located here, this is also a good place to look for jewelry deals. The Begumpet Flyover area to Banjara Hills is known as Hyderabad's 'golden mile' for shopping, and it's lined with upscale malls, upscale boutiques and an endless number of jewelry stores.
Westside store:
We have an obsession with Westside stores in Hyderabad; we have found t-shirts that are exactly like the ones Allu Arjun wears in his movies (It may seem unbelievable, but we have frequently discovered similar t-shirts.), which are unavailable in any other Westside stores located in other states. If we are in Hyderabad, We never go to any other mallsβonly Westside stores.
Hyderabad's Must-try Cuisine
Biryani:
Hyderabadi biryani would surely come in first if you were to rank Hyderabadi cuisine based only on popularity. People are always drawn back for another by the flavour and fragrant aroma! But for a lighter meal, people often choose chicken biryani.
Kebab:
A staple of Middle Eastern cuisine, kebabs are grilled meats that have become increasingly popular around the world. Huge lines form outside Hyderabadi restaurants for a plate of juicy, smoky kebabs with mint chutney, proving how popular meat dishes are in Hyderabad. Widely regarded as a somewhat utopian haven for food lovers, it enjoys immense popularity throughout India.
Irani Chai:
For those who enjoy a nice cup of tea in the evening, Irani Chai is a fascinating twist on your standard cup of tea. Iranian Chai has a very milky, bitter flavour and is served with a thick, sweet biscuit. It acquires a distinct flavour after being simmered for hours on low heat. In Hyderabad, Irani Chai is so popular that entire booths are devoted to selling it.
Falooda:
To make Falooda, combine the proper ingredients (rose syrup, vermicelli, sweet basil seeds, jelly, milk, and ice cream) in the proper amounts. Hyderabad offers many restaurants that serve falooda, which is delicious and visually pleasing when prepared.
Sheer Korma:
Made with sweetened milk and dates, Sheer Korma is a delicious vermicelli pudding. Similar to porridge, the sweet is cooked for an extended length of time, giving it a creamy, white texture. Famous Indian comfort food, known as sheer korma, is typically served during festivals, celebrations, and leisurely afternoons. If you prefer crunchy sides to your nutty meals, ask for dry fruits to balance the nutty flavour.
Since I'm a pescatarian, I haven't tried the kebab or biryani on the menu, but since Hyderabad is known for its biryani, you can definitely try it here to satiate your palate.
