How to Reach Jolly Buoy:
Commence your journey from Port Blair to Wandoor – Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. Acquire permits and tickets from the designated counters before embarking on a picturesque boat ride to Jolly Buoy.
Only two boats with a capacity of 50 people each go to Jolly Buoy Island each day. The boats depart at 9 AM from the Wandoor Jetty and stop at Jolly Buoy Island for a few hours before returning to the same boat. It's essential to plan your trip accordingly to catch one of these boats for a memorable experience at Jolly Buoy Island.
To enjoy the best views of the different islands during the journey from Wandoor to Jolly Buoy, it's recommended to stay seated on the right side of the boat where the clear glass window offers panoramic vistas. This ensures you don't miss out on the breathtaking sights along the way.
Entry Ticket and Permits:
Secure your trip with an entry fee of Rs. 1800, covering boat tickets and permits. Ensure timely booking from the IP&T office in Port Blair and acquire boat tickets from the ticketing counter near Wandoor Beach.
