I had planned a 7 day trip for this island but it is really less to cover the whole island. On the first day we stayed at Port Blair and planned the next 6 days and covered the light and sound show of cellular jail. To travel to Havelock, you need to buy a ferry ticket in advance. Next day we went on a three island tour - Ross, North Bay and long island. On the third day, we left for havelock and enjoyed all the beaches there and in the evening we would go to Radhnagar beach to enjoy the sunset. The food at dolphin resort was good. In the fifth day we left for neil island. We hired an auto and the driver agreed to show us all the beaches. Neil island is not so developed and is very small as compared to havelock. In the evening, we left for Port Blair. Port Blair is known for its historical cellular jail and saw mill. We went for some handicraft shopping in the government emporium. On the last day, we went to the navy museum and saw mill. If you want to buy wooden handicraft items, then this is the place. Also, the jewellery shop on the airport sells good stuff at decent price. Overall, it was a perfect journey. Being a gujju, food was my biggest concern but I got the best food possible. The people are very friendly and the transport is really cheap. If you do have a few more days then you should cover Cinque island, Diglipur and small andaman and nicobar island. But these islands are far from Port Blair hence you need more time for travelling.
most of the resorts are situated at vijaynagar beach which has got beautiful clean water

This is a national animal reserve managed by government. This was the most beautiful island. Clean beaches and live corals and you can see fishes through snorkeling and glass boat. There were pearl oysters and fishes of every colour possible. I even saw some live shells

This island was badly affected by the tsunami and lost its most picturesque beach. You can find deers walking along your side without any fear. Also, it has historical importance as it played an important part in world war 2
