I started my journey from Mumbai. I took early morning flight from Mumbai to Amritsar.
Checked in in Hotel Lemon Tree in afternoon. Took lunch on the way from airport. Freshened up at the hotel after a brief rest.
Visited Atari-Wagah border for the flag off ceremony.
Then, visited Shri Harminder Saheb Mandir commonly known as Golden Temple in late evening and it was a divine experience.
I was overwhelmed and mesmerized by the peace and lighting.
Second day was going to be all holy visits.
The main purpose of this trip for me was to visit our kuldevi temple. Which is Jwalaji.
So on the way i covered other 3 devi temples as well.

Stay near Chamunda devi temple in a spooky hotel since the driver was not comfortable to drive to Dharamshala since it was already dark.
Next morning I left for Dharamshala, which was just 20km from where i was staying.
So, Dharamshala is a town city in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
At Dharamshala, I went to the iconic Cricket Stadium. It is the most beautiful cricket ground in India.
I could see chole kulche and momos all around the city so i stopped for maggi and momos
Then went to Mcleodganj. It is a sub-town of Dharamshala. It is famous for Tibetians. Large population of Tibetians are settled here so it is also called Mini Lhasa.(Capital of Tibet)
The famous Dalai Lama temple is also here.

I stayed at a higher point which is called Naddi.
Hotel Himgiri Resort was the place i stayed for the night.
Next morning I left for Dalhousie.
It was 123kms from Dharamshala.
So reached Dalhousie by afternoon.
Checked in Hotel.
Dalhousie was named after Lord Dalhousie, former governor general of India.
Then went to the St. Francis Church.
