Start your day with a visit to the golden Temple, be prepared to stand in long queue to get the darshan. Overall it will take 1 or 1.5 hrs depending on the rush. Sit for sometime near the pond and experience the serenity of the golden Temple.
Then visit the jalianwala bagh which is located very near to the golden Temple, it will take not more than 20 mins.
Indulge in some shopping at the temple area complex, buy some punjabi juttis or a phulkari duppatta. Eat local street food, a kulcha at brothers dhaba Or chaat/golgappe or kulfi and jalebi etc, lots of options are there.
Then head to the famous partition meuseum area. It will take 1 hour of your time.
If u feel tired go back to your hotel rest for sometime and come back for a night view of the golden Temple. It is mermerising.
Start ur day at leisure, book a cab for 8 hrs.
Board the cab for wagah border and on your way visit durgiana temple and mini vaishno devi temple. Then visit sadda pind on your way, click lot of selfies with the gorgeous village settings and background. Have traditional lunch of kulchas or sarson da sag makki di roti.
Between 2.30 to 3 leave for wagah border and grab a good seat. Enjoy the beating retreat ceremony and leave back to the city.
Next destination is gobindgarh fort, attend the traditional bhangara dance and have a lot more fun participating in punjabi folk song and dance. Light and sound show is a must see at this fort. Don't miss that. See the fort from inside if you have time.
Have dinner inside the fort or you can visit kesar da dabba at a nearby distance from the fort.
Visit the golden Temple again at night if you want or you can go back to the hotel to relax.
