Ambaji temple is indeed one of the most important places of religious importance in Hindu Mythology. It is one of the 51 shaktipeeths & among the most visited Indian Temples.
It is said that heart of The Goddess Sati has fallen here.
The Goddess is worshipped as Visa Yantra in the Temple.
The Original Seat of Devi is on Gabbar Hilltop where an 'Akhand Jyoti' is constantly burning & facing exactly the Visa Yantra.
There are many beliefs related to this place regarding Lord Ram & Krishna.
This place is believed to be an eternal shrine.....
We hired a local van from Dantiwada which costed around 150/- person. We reached there around 2:00 in the afternoon.
There are around 1000 steps to reach the hilltop.
This place has a beautiful aura.....
One can also prefer the cable car/ rope way which costs around 37/- person for one way trip.
There is a 'Parikrama Path' around the Gabbar Hills where you can also find the 51 shaktipeeths.
I consider myself very lucky that I got an opportunity to visit this place on the 7th day of Navratri.....
Note : If you are not comfortable with crowds, avoid visiting this place on/ nearing Festivals. There is a great rush during this period.
