KOCHI
From munnar we left to kochi which is aprx 4hrs journey about 70km. Again the journey from munnar to kochi is just amazing. At the same time you will get to see drastic change in temperature. Kochi is more hot & humid. Best places to visit in Kochi is beaches & fort kochi where you get to see foreigners is large number. We spent 2 days in kochi.
Kochi to Alleppey
From kochi to Alleppey we rented a 2-wheeler which was INR 500 per day. The route to Alleppey is quite simple because its a single straight road about 50km goes straight to Alleppey. This road runs parallel to kochi beaches. Alleppey is quite famous for backwater houseboating.
Visited Munnar from Bangalore via bus. The bus journey was quite amazing scenically. Weather was just perfect about 18-20 deg. We visited quite a few places like Mattupetty Dam, Tea Gardens & Top station. Top station is the best place to visit in Munnar. You can see floating clouds.
