we started from gwalior, it was almost 12 hours journey. we reach allahabad in the morning, we freshen up and we started searching for place,
we took rikshaw from station to kumbh area, we were searching but we were unable to search place, so we split up .
me and my other 2 frds were searching in sector 2 and my other 2 frds were searching in sector 4 , thwy got the place we went there, we changed our clothes and now it was our time to visit kumbh.
kummbh is divided into sectors, where every sector has its own important, sector 4 is for public tents, sector is for media like this
kumbh area is around 30 km. they made temporary bridge to cross river, security was very tight.
toilet facility was also good.
when ww reached sangam area , the view was so mesmerising, all the boats, people and ganga yamuna, it was beautiful.
we sat there for a while and then we started exploring that place, in night it was again so beautiful, peaceful.
About kumbh:
there is this mythological story that says, once there was fight between asura and devas for amrit. while they were fighting 4 drops or amrit came on earth -haridwar, allahabad, ujjain, nashik
these for places are the places where kumbh happens!
kumbh where lot of people come and took bath together. it is world's largest gathering of people.
next day we went for sunrice it was beautiful. again ganga makes you happy in every possible way!
we took a boat ride, along with us there were another boats making this place beautiful, they provided us life jackets. they took us to sangam where you can actually spot ganga and yamuna.
it was again and beautiful experience.
when we came back we had talk with some people, exchanging generation gaps and having conversation is always good.
kumbh is something else, it doesn't matter if you believe in these things or not, its a beautiful experience which you should have once in a life, and i am greatfull that i got this opportunity.
PS : please bring food with you as there is really no food stalls in kumbh area
