Nothing much to give an intro about the place, its a honeymoon destination for couples. the sunsets and ancient temples to add on!

But for a explorer who is ready to get off the limits, theres a lot to hunt.government restrictions may come in between you and your plan, but post monsoon may give a break to all these blockages(P.S: its a elephant corridor and luck plays a important role in the success of your adventures.)

Barkana falls enroute the Narasimha parvata trek route is a must do. Jogi gundi falls is one such places where natural pool for swimming is a complementary gift for trekkers.

onakke abbi: you cannot reach the bottom of this gushing waterfall, you can only reach the mouth of waterfall and its flow path.

Kavaledurga fort: try to reach here before 3 in afternoon, because its foggy during evenings and the road turns risky to drive.its a 4 km trek to the top, from which you can see receding backwaters of mani reservoir. worth a trek!
