Agra and Jaipur are the two corners of the famous Golden Triangle, but most often, they are visited and enjoyed only from a bird's eye view. The real beauty that lies at the grassroots, in those narrow lanes, in the street food, the tiny villages and the warm and welcoming people, can be experienced only by getting on to the road, out of those comfortable cars or planes, and watch life unravel in its purest form. The biking tours we conduct between the Agra and Jaipur circuit give you the perfect opportunity to enjoy India's rich heritage up close.
These adventure cycling trips take you past bustling streets, the grand Taj Mahal, quaint little hamlets, bird sanctuaries, tiger trails and the busy markets of Jaipur. ABT will ensure that while you get to see India as it unfolds, you also get treated like royalty, with accommodation arrangements at some of the premier inns of India. Every night, after rigorous adventure cycling, you can unwind and relax in the luxury of the best kind.
This biking tour starts in Agra and ends in Jaipur. The duration would be 10 days, in which you would cover 400km (250miles), with an average 50kms (31miles) per day in adventure cycling. It is a relatively easy tour with the terrain being mostly flat. And as is the norm with ABT's biking tours, a van will always be with you, carrying your luggage and giving you a lift whenever you run out of steam.

Day 1: Start with meeting the trip leader at the airport. You will be transported to your hotel and embark on a short walking tour of the city. You walk through old, crumbling houses precariously lined at the edge of narrow streets while old wires obstruct your view of the sky – hectic, but heartwarming. If you have an appetite for street food, we recommend a bite of the oily parathas, kachoris, lassi and some tea. At night we will celebrate the start of your journey through India with a festive dinner. Day 2: Visit the Taj Mahal, covering about 35 km in bicycle.
Day 3: After breakfast, we set off in our bikes to Bharatpur, taking a culturally packed route through the beautiful countryside, temples and farms. We reach Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, a famous avifauna sanctuary that plays host to thousands of birds.
Day 4:
The trip through the national park will take you past small rural hamlets and countryside endowed with mustard fields all around. Here you have an opportunity to interact with the locals and gain greater insight into their lives.
Day 5:
An optional rest day
Day 6:
After the birds, it will be the turn of tigers to vie for your attention, as you wind your way through the picturesque countryside, chequered with mustard fields and millet farms. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan & a favourite haunt of wildlife buffs & professional wildlife photographers from around the world. The park is famous for its tigers, one of the most magnificent animals of India.
Day 7:
We spend a day searching for tigers (optional).
